BIOGRAPHY
Taio Cruz is a singer, producer, songwriter and performer. He is of Nigerian and Brazillian descent. His most notable success has come from his debut solo single 'I Just Wanna Know' which was released on November 6, 2006, and reached a peak of #29 on the UK charts (11.11.06).
Biography
Taio's smooth and sweet vocal tone has been compared to many great artists, mentioned in the same breath [citation needed] as Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Prince and Brian from Hush, all of whom he has been inspired by and is humbled to be likened to. [citation needed]
Taio Cruz, founder and C.E.O. Of Record Label Rokstarr Music London [citation needed], is currently signed within a joint venture partnership deal with UMusic Companies Republic Records U.S. And Island Records U.K.
As a producer/writer/performer Taio has worked with and written for numerous artists, producers and writers [citation needed], including, in the US, Mya, Usher, Britney Spears, Red Zone, Dallas Austin, Shae Taylor, Rich Harrison and Jazzie Pha, and in the UK, Omar, Nitin Sawhney, Wookie and Will Young. The song “Your Game”, written by Taio for Will Young, went multi-platinum and won Best British Single at the Brit Awards.
He is also working on Britney Spears new album according to his Myspace [citation needed].
Currently he is working on his new album title The Movie which is to be released some time in the fall of 2007.
